Plays and flag football

I just had two plays just couple days ago. Robin Hood play and The Home school play. On Friday I  had two dress rehearsals. I also had A play. It was a busy day. Saturday, the day after I had the Robinhood play.

In Robinhood, I was Friar Tuck.  We practiced for months, it was hard yet fun.  I had to gain some weight for the play (mostly out of pillows).   One of my favorite parts in the play was singing the "Love" song, and then I danced as a Ballerina.  It was hilarious wearing the pillows.  It was fun to be in the play with Quincy, Jake, Hailey, Avery, Annie, Brylea and Logan and other people. It was also fun to have Coy and Mookie and Spencer as stage crew.

The homeschool play was just as fun with Richard, Sam, Josh, Tanner, McKell, Brian, Hannah, Mariah, Anna, Gabriella, Micah and Annie.   I was in a couple of parts. The one I loved best was the Operatic Tragedy.  In that I was the villain.  I was also in folk songs, Emporer's New Clothes, Pirates of Penzance(which was my second favorite), No Business Like Show Business, and two dances, the Virginia Reel and the dance from Pride and Prejudice

I haven't told you about flag football. I was the MVP (most valuable player), most of the players told me that.  Throughout the whole season I had about fifteen touchdowns, three interceptions, and about 25 runs.  I had a lot of fun in flag football, and I only made it to one of the three practices they had, so it seemed short, but it was still really fun.

My Testimony Today...

At church today I needed to find a picture or a story and find out what it means by myself with no help. That really showed me what potential I had and how wonderful my testimony is.  Without scriptures or the back of the picture, I knew what the story was. I knew that story like the back of my hand.   I knew everything that happened there.

I know Heavenly Father loves me. I really like His plan to come down to earth and live a mortal life.  I'm grateful that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins so we could be forgiven, and He gave His life so we could live with Him again, in other words, be resurrected.   I'm thankful taht the prophets of old had the idea  of keeping a record of what happened. The scriptures have the answer to almost every spiritual question.  Joseph Smith is my hero.  I'm really glad my parents named me after Him.  He is a very great example.  President Monson is a great prophet. He is a very great prophet. I think the choice with Him being the prophet is a very great choice.  I've never met him, but as far as I hear from him in general conference, I can tell that He is a very great man.  I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
I've only got one week until I go off track, and then after that I only have three weeks until I go off for three whole months. I am going to home school next year.  It's going to be really fun, because Annie is going to home school with me. We're going to play a lot. We're going to play on the tramp almost every morning, I bet.  We are going to have so much fun, and I'm finally going to be able to help Annie with her studies for school.   Colton Hendriksen came up to me and said that he would have a longer summer than me. He's only having six weeks.  I'm having a three month summer.  He was all bragging and I was like "Actually, Colton, I'm home schooling" and he said "ah, dang it!"  Then he went to Spencer and bragged and Spencer said "Actually, I have the same because I'm going into 7th grade.

Today we passed the 2000 mark on reverence points. We haven't had our reverence points party. We're having it on Tuesday this week, so now we have another party to go on now, which I'm pretty sure is going to be swimming.  We're playing night games for our first party, in case you're wondering.

I play kickball or soccer almost every day at recess.  We have so much fun.  Sometimes the second graders challenge us. They have strength in numbers. They have three classes of second graders and we only have about one class of fourth graders.  It's a pretty even match.  I'm doing really good at kick ball.  I get at least two outs every outing.  I'm actually very good at offensive kickball, too. I can kick it way past second base.  When I do, I get to about third base before anyone even gets close to getting me out.

That's what's going on now.

It's a Wonderful New Year!

I've had so much going on in the year of 2011.  As if a new way of doing chores, the point store.  You earn points by doing chores and being nice to others, and then you can turn in those points for candies, and activities, and a lot of other stuff.  Out of the point store, we just barely made a point store and did it. I got a big box of Gobstoppers and a bag of skittles.  I'm eating the Skittles right now, they're really good.

Last year we tried out for a job at the church. I've already worked on the radio for the church, now I'm going to be in a church movie. They informed me pretty late, so we were thinking that I didn't make the job, but just a couple days ago, we got an e-mail that said we would be able to get the job, and so now we just have to go and do it. We're going 8 times, 50 dollars each time!

We went up to Fairview yesterday and tried out our new snowboards. I don't know about anyone else's, but mine went fast, really fast. We stayed up there for 4 hours.  My Mom was being overly protective so she made us wear our motorcycle helmets the whole time.

It's been a lot warmer lately, it's feeling like spring today.  I don't know if it's going to be warm the rest of this week.  It was pretty cold Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

I've been doing pretty good on my scriptures, I've been doing 100%!  That's my gift to the Savior for this year.  I went in to Webelos with Eli.  It's so weird to have him around and so fun.   That's all folks!
